We read every message.

Email . Write from the address on your Jist account, and if your question is about a particular article, episode or Story, include its title and source.

Signing in

To reset your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen in the app. Confirmation and password-reset emails can take a minute to arrive. If one doesn’t, check your spam folder, then request another. Each link works once and expires after a while.

Pro and billing

Pro is billed by Apple or Google, so you manage it in your store account:

  • iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Jist.
  • Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Jist.

Deleting the app or your Jist account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: see Apple’s refund instructions or Google’s refund policies.

Private feeds

You can follow paid or members-only feeds, such as a subscriber podcast or newsletter feed. Paste the feed link the publisher gave you into Add source, and tick Private feed if Jist hasn’t already recognized it. A private feed is visible only to you, and its link is kept secret. If a publisher replaces your link, add the new one and unfollow the old one.

Something looks wrong in a summary

Jists and other summaries are written by AI and can make mistakes. Send us the title and source, or a share link, and tell us what’s wrong. We use these reports to improve Jist.

A source isn’t updating

Some sites change their feeds or block automated readers. Email us the source’s name and web address and we’ll take a look. For a private feed, check that your subscription is still active.

Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. You can delete your account at any time, and the Delete your account page explains how. To get a copy of your data, use You › Account › Export your data in the app or on the web, or email support@tryjist.com.

Publishers and creators

To change or limit how Jist shows your work, email support@tryjist.com from an address at your publication’s domain, or explain your connection to it. For copyright complaints, follow section 13 of our Terms.

Security

Report security issues to support@tryjist.com. Please don’t access other people’s accounts or data while investigating.
